Neck Care:

A healthy neck supports your head and keeps it aligned with the rest of the spine in a proper and balanced posture. A beautiful shoulder emphasizes the beauty of your figure making you look attractive and gorgeous. Although people never bother to take care of their neck, but it is an important aspect requiring care and attention. Women give much of their attention to the face and they forget all about their neck and how much it contributes for a beautiful attitude.

The neck has a slight natural curve, which set on top of the two curves in the middle and lower back. Correct posture maintains all three curves and prevents undue stress and strain by distributing body weight evenly. To prevent problems, one must avoid straining themselves, even while lying, sitting, standing, walking, working and exercising.

Common neck Problems

Excess Hair grows on the neck accompanied by the hair on the chin because of hormonal imbalances. Side effects of several medications can also cause this problem. There are many hair removal techniques, which should not be handled by professionals.
Lines on the Neck - The skin on the neck is very thin and delicate and if you don`t take proper care then you are likely to develop lines on your neck. Without proper exercise you may lose muscle tone around the neck and the premature aged skin shall widen resulting in ugly lines around the neck. This area should be cleaned properly so that the dead cells do not accumulate. Sometimes the skin also becomes shapeless and develops lines after a long period of illness.

Pigmentation of the skin around the Neck – This occurs if this part of the body is neglected. Exposure to sun and bad posture are also reasons. This problem gets aggravated in the neck area if the posture is bad thereby causing the pigments to accumulate near the neck. Thus if the neck is held straight, uneven distribution of pigment can be decreased.
