Ali Germaine Landry was born on July 21, 1973 and is known ever since she won the title of Miss USA in the year 1996. She is a successful model and actress by profession. She is acknowledged as the Doritos Girl from her popular 1998 Super Bowl commercial. In 1998, she was named as one of 50 most beautiful people in the world by People magazine.
Ali Landry grew up in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. This southern region of Louisiana is known as the "Acadiana," the heart of Cajun country. She graduated from Cecilia High School in 1991. She also attended the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and was majoring in Mass Communications. She is also a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.
Landry met actor and TV personality Mario Lopez at the 1998 Miss Teen USA pageant and she was the co-commentator. They were engaged during the summer of 2003 and married on April 24, 2004, but two weeks later she had the marriage canceled over so-called infidelities committed by Lopez during the relationship. She married the film director Alejandro Gomez Monteverde on April 8, 2006 in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Their daughter Estela Ines Monteverde took birth on July 11, 2007.
Ali Landry specializes in swimsuit and lingerie modeling. She has also participated in the show Fear Factor, and was the runner up. Landry got engaged to actor Mario Lopez during the summer of 2003 and married on April 24, 2004 which lasted only for two weeks only. On April 8, 2006 she got re married to film director Alejandro Gomez Monteverde in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
