Plot -Tom (played by Patrick Dempsey), the pivotal role believes life is good. Tom is sexy, successful and has great luck with the ladies. He always relies on Hannah (played by Michelle Monaghan), his charming, best friend and also his would be life partner. Everything was perfect until Hannah travels to Scotland for a six-week business trip. Tom is astonished to realize how void his life became without her. He resolves that when she comes back, he will ask Hannah to marry him. Then the story takes a turn when, he come to know that she has got engaged to a handsome and wealthy Scotsman and plans to move to distant lands. When Hannah asks Tom to be her “maid” of honor, he unwillingly agrees to fill the space, just with a wish that he can attempt to woo Hannah and stop the wedding, but unfortunately it was too late.
